Cardington Trip Report 2011

This year's trip to the Cardington artificial kayak course was held on 4/5th June. The weather was hot and sunny on the Saturday but overcast and cool on the Sunday, with some rain just after we had packed up - good timing!

As usual, HDCC provided a lot of help on Friday afternoon, setting up the course and the facilities, after which we headed off to the pub for a well-earned meal.

The course provides useful practice for the basic whitewater skills in a safe environment, and it is a short walk back to the top to have another go.
