Boxing Day 2011

The weather was extremely mild this year with an overcast sky and there was a good turn out, including a few old faces who had presumably heard about the free drinks!

The sea was a bit choppy with the waves starting to dump on the beach as we went out. After a short paddle along the coast and back we dodged the waves to get back onto the beach. The only 'casualty' was Dave, who took on a big breaker and lost!

Back in the clubhouse, a hot drink, mince pies, chocolate biscuits and mulled wine encouraged some lively banter about the paddling to come for the new year.
