Trip Description - Nottingham

The Nottingham trip

This is a yearly trip to Holme Pierre Point up in Nottingham. It is an artificial white water course, which has adjustable water levels as they select how much water they take from the river Trent. This is a brilliant place for beginners and experts, as beginners can go on the low flows in the morning and get used to it, then in the afternoon the experts can go playboating on any of the many play features on the course. This is where most people from the club learn to paddle on moving water.

Grade: 2/3

Experience level: All levels of skill

Rating: 5/5
