2012 River Wye Trip Details

This year's open canoe trip will be over 4 days paddling down the River Wye.

Thu 16 Aug

Starting at Holm Lacey near Hereford covering a distance of about 10 miles. Camping Thursday night will be at Tressecks Farm, Hoarwithy (www.tresseckcampsite.co.uk).

Fri 17 Aug

Paddling 12 miles to Ross on Wye to camp at the White Lion Inn (www.whitelionross.co.uk).

Sat 18 Aug

Paddling 13 miles to Symonds Yat to stay at River Wye Camping (www.riverwyecamping.com).

Sun 19 Aug

Paddling 11 miles down to Redbrook and then on home that evening.

The cost of the 3 nights camping is £20. As this is a popular area we need to book ASAP, also we have a limited number of open canoes. We need to book before the end of February.
